Knicks Didn’t Score During First 6 Minutes Of Game (Photo)

The New York Knicks are bad, we all know this. Their current 5-35 record (good for worst in the NBA) tells us that. But we’re approaching historically bad levels for the Knicks, not just in the standings but in regards to their effort.

Taking on the Milwaukee Bucks in a matinee game this afternoon, they allowed their opponent to jump out to a 14-0 lead by not scoring during the first six-minutes of the game.

There were timeouts. There were yells from head coach Derek Fisher. There were glares and unhappy looks from Carmelo Anthony and company. It didn’t matter because the Knicks simply couldn’t get the ball through the rim.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen such this season – hell – it’s not even the first time we’ve seen something similar this week as the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a similar woeful stat. They took have been struggling like the Knicks though not nearly as bad, which sadly says a lot about the current state of basketball in the Big Apple.

The Bucks have continued to increase their lead against the Knicks who continued to struggle during the first quarter despite the fact they did eventually get some points on the board.
