NBA trade rumors: Nuggets have spoken to Clippers, Thunder, Bulls about Arron Afflalo trade.
The Denver Nuggets want a lot of assets if they’re to trade Arron Afflalo, though, that might be wishful thinking on their part. Despite that, there are a lot of teams interested in the veteran swingman including the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings who’ve all held trade discussions for the guard/forward.
That’s the word from ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne who says the talks haven’t been in-depth, but they have occurred.

Why exactly the Kings would be seeking Afflalo is a bit odd considering they have both Ben McLemore and Rudy Gay, though the Thunder, Clippers and Bulls could all use Arron Afflalo off the bench as they look for depth come the NBA playoffs.
Of course, nabbing the veteran isn’t going to be easy for any of the above mentioned teams as the Denver Nuggets don’t appear overly thrilled with the prospect of trading him. That’s not to say they won’t do it, but they certainly feel as if they can bring back a hefty return in doing so.
