Los Angeles Lakers want a Ty Lawson trade with the Denver Nuggets.
The Los Angeles Lakers know Kobe Bryant‘s NBA window is closing quickly and they’d like to put themselves in position for one last playoff run while also pouring the post-Bryant foundation.
A good start would be to acquire a franchise point guard, like Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets who is reportedly said to be on the block.
With the Denver Nuggets looking to all but blow up their roster, Lawson has become available and the point guard desperate Lakers are said to want in on a Ty Lawson trade.

Of course, this falls in line with so many other Lakers rumors which involve Los Angeles wanting a high profile NBA All Star level talent with little to offer in return. Yes, the Lakers do have their upcoming lottery draft pick and could part with that for Ty Lawson, though that trade would seem to favor the Denver Nuggets as they’d likely hand deliver the point guard for a likely top five pick.
Outside of that selection and Julius Randle, the Lakers simply don’t have much to put forth a respectable offer for a Ty Lawson trade. So while they may want such a deal, completing such is a different story.
