Apparently, it’s Dwyane Wade day around the NBA because the Miami Heat guard has taken over the NBA rumors mill.
First there was the alleged Snapchat video. Then Dwyane Wade’s dad was pictured wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers shirt leading to speculation that LeBron James was interested in recruiting his former Miami Heat teammate.
Now there’s a suggestion stating that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in Dwyane Wade. More than that, it’s alleged the interest is mutual and Wade is interested in playing alongside Kobe Bryant.
While many execs still see Wade/Heat as contract saber rattling, a Wade option will be the Lakers. Mutual interest, per league sources.

It would seem the only way Wade would play for the Lakers, barring a sign-and-trade, would be if Los Angeles strikes out in free agency. The reason Wade is having “issues” with the Miami Heat is simply over money, something the Lakers have to spend, but likely won’t want to give up unless they sign a much younger player than DWade.
So for now it does seem a little far fetched, but stranger things have happened and you’d have to assume Dwyane Wade will want to play in a large market like LA, Chicago or Miami (assuming he doesn’t join LeBron James and the Cavs) thanks to marketing.
