The Cleveland Cavaliers could well be on their way to an NBA title. They’re already entrenched in the Eastern Conference Finals and have a juicy matchup with either the Atlanta Hawks or Washington Wizards, two basketball teams they’re likely to be named the favorites over when the series begins.
But despite the success, it appears Cavs head coach David Blatt could be on the chopping block.
That’s because Bleacher Reports Ric Bucher believes the Cavs will fire David Blatt even if the team goes on to win an NBA championship.

Take the report with a grain of salt because Bucher, a former ESPN scribe, is known to be a little over the top with his reporting. That said, LeBron James and Blatt have had their issues this season and what King James wants, he often gets.
That’s not to say LeBron James is behind the rumored potential firing of David Blatt, but if there’s somebody he’d rather have coaching the team, you’d think the Cleveland Cavaliers would listen.
Still, it’s nothing more than a rumor at this point – though – one that will likely become a distraction during these NBA playoffs.
