NBA Rumors: Bulls, Mavs, Spurs, Heat Seeking Nemanja Bjelica Trade?

The Minnesota Timberwolves still hope to sign Nemanja Bjelica, a former second-round pick, who has been playing abroad since being drafted.

But NBA rumors have suggested the 6-10 forward isn’t exactly overjoyed to be playing for a rebuilding team and may not come over. That’s why there has been speculation suggesting there could be a Nemanja Bjelica trade down the road and a handful of NBA teams are said to be interested.

That list includes but is not limited to the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and more.

Per CBS Sports:

The Timberwolves still hope to sign former second-round draft pick Nemanja Bjelica, but if the team isn’t able to come to an agreement with him, there appear to be plenty of trade options.

According to a report by Minneapolis station KSTP teams that are interested in Bjelica are the Mavericks, Spurs, Heat, Nets and Bulls, with other possibly willing to get involved.

It’s doubtful the cost will be too pricey and it’s not as if the Timberwolves have a ton of leverage here. Either way, no deal appears imminent but if the big man refuses to play for the Wolves, there looks to be a strong possibility of a trade and guys like Derrick Rose, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan or Dwyane Wade could all have a new teammate.
