Not only are the LA Lakers going to have an insanely nice practice facility in the near future, they might have a darn good team who calls it home.
That’s because the Lakers are set to meet with not only Greg Monroe and DeAndre Jordan in NBA free agency, but also Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.
As you know, Wade has been none too happy with the Heat and could be looking to play elsewhere. Few teams have more money available that the Lakers, though, you’d think they’d prefer a younger star to ‘replace’ Kobe Bryant than Wade who is a bit of an aging injury risk himself. Regardless, a meeting between the two sides is set to come soon.
Lakers haven’t scheduled a meeting with Dwyane Wade just yet, but I’m told they plan to. Meeting with Greg Monroe and DeAndre Jordan today

Dwyane Wade is said to be seeking quite the sum of money, so either the Lakers are using him as a last ditch option if they can’t sign another star talent or they’re trying to sell him on the idea of signing a team friendly deal in effort to find himself in contention for another NBA title.
Either way, it’s a bit of an odd fit, but one that both sides apparently have some mutual interest in.
