NBA Finals: LeBron James On Cavs Loss – ‘Heart Is Broken’

LeBron James

A dejected LeBron James made his way to the podium after the Golden State Warriors celebrated their NBA Finals victory moments earlier, looking understandably frustrated with what had taken place just over an hour ago.

James was asked to describe his feelings about the NBA Finals and the loss, stated nothing more than ‘it hurt’ and suggested his heart is broken.

LeBron James went on to say that he wishes he could have done more – whatever that was. Give a little extra effort, play a little better, whatever the case, he feels as if there was just a little more he could have left on the basketball court and again reiterated the pain and how bad the Cavs Finals lost hurt.

Of course, there wasn’t much more LeBron James could have done but just a couple nights after puffing his chest as the self-proclaimed greatest player in the world, the former NBA MVP was much more quiet with his emotions.

In addition, James praised the Cavs for playing hard and tough without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love while also stating he wasn’t sure if he’d rather miss the playoffs completely or lose in the NBA Finals.

Lastly, James stated that all four of his NBA Finals losses were equally disappointing and the fact the loss came on the heels of returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t make the pain sting any worse than it already does.
