On Monday night, thanks to a Jordan Clarkson bucket, the Los Angeles Lakers won a game.
It’s been a pretty rare occurrence for the iconic basketball franchise, but the players were thrilled with their hard fought victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Many Lakers fans didn’t share the joy though as they couldn’t help but vent their frustrations on social media.
See, the Los Angeles Lakers draft pick is top five protected. The more wins they amass, the stronger likelihood they could lose their pick to the 76ers – you know – the team whom they beat on Monday night.
Needless to say, a loss would have went a long way towards the Los Angeles Lakers keeping their draft pick while the victory put a wrench in such. Fans, well aware of this, ripped their team apart on Twitter.
This season is the worst type of fan experience there could be. I cannot be convinced otherwise.

This is just an extremely small sample size of unhappy Lakers fans who let their feelings be known.
Granted, you never want to root for a loss but given the circumstances….
Wish we could get an opinion from Kobe Bryant on this.
