LeBron James Is Stubborn, Will Not Listen Says Cavs Coach

LeBron James

The back-and-forth between LeBron James and Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt is starting up again, just days after it somewhat died down.

For much of the season, James has been mildly polarizing regarding his coach as he routinely seems to put himself in Blatt’s position, either handling timeouts and huddles by himself or completely ignoring them when Blatt takes control.

It’s lead to heavy speculation that James isn’t a big fan of the veteran coach who recently suggested the Cleveland Cavaliers star and NBA icon is stubborn and doesn’t always listen.

“At times, he can be stubborn. But what I know from him, what he wants from me, is a vehicle to help him win. And beyond that, nothing else is really important.”

Blatt continued when asked if he would like to see LeBron James more engaged and listening in on the huddles.

“I do,” Blatt told Yahoo Sports. “But I’ve had players do that before. But the answer to that is just winning. This isn’t a perfect world. This isn’t utopia. In the NBA, it’s different. Every glance, twitch, gets glorified and magnified. I just let it go. There’s nothing I can do about it.”

Blatt didn’t really say anything over the top nor anything we couldn’t see with our own eyes, though calling out your best player is a pretty ballsy move though it appears as if Blatt’s options were getting rather limited.

Rough day for King James who was already called out by Miami Heat owner Micky Arison.
