Pretty much every professional athlete has one thing going for them – a desire not to lose.
For a select few, this desire aches even deeper, like LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The man refuses to lose, which was evident during his performance in Game 2 of the NBA Finals against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
But the former NBA MVP says there is something special this year. What is that, you ask? Nobody really knows but the Cavs star himself because there is a LeBron James secret motivation for winning the NBA Finals this year.
King James will not say what it is, though said he’ll be more than happy to share such news if the Cavaliers are to win the NBA championship.
“My motivation is to make sure my guys are ready and prepared every night we step on the floor,” James said. “And I have some other motivation that I won’t talk about right now, but I have so many different things to worry about than being an underdog or guys counting us out.

One could assume he’s simply talking about bringing a much needed title to Cleveland who has become a sports atrocity over the past few decades, but that would seem to be too easy, right?
