What do Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James all have in common? Sure, they were or are all elite basketball players but more than that, at one point and time they were (or in James’ case are) the most popular professional athlete on the face of the earth.
But could you have imagined Bryant or Jordan taking a mirror selfie after a tough loss? Probably not, which is why you can’t help but laugh when LeBron James posted a picture of himself looking woefully sad into a mirror after a tough loss against the Houston Rockets.

Perhaps the Cleveland Cavaliers forward doesn’t fully understand the impact of every one of his actions, small or big, but I have a difficult time believing that. More likely, LeBron James is simply trolling everybody. Sure, it comes across as LeBron being LeBron – but the former NBA MVP isn’t dumb. Granted, I’m not exactly sure of his point with the sad mirror selfie but there was obviously a reason behind it.
Maybe it was a suggestion that he can’t do it all alone and needs help from guys not named Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving. Maybe it was really nothing more than a sad mirror selfie. Who knows, but I can’t help but think LeBron James is having fun at everybody’s expense.
