I come from a school where rap music is defined by guys like 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Big L, etc.
So it’s safe to say I don’t really think of Flo Rida as a rapper. That’s not to say he can’t make the occasional good song, which is more than LeBron James Mom’s boyfriend Da Real Lambo who is apparently beefing with the ‘Get Low’ MC.
According to LeBron James’ possible stepfather (okay, that made me laugh), Da Real Lambo says Flo Rida was stealing his stuff when they were formerly on the same music label and dude is having none of it now suggesting Flo Rida is a clown.
Per TMZ:
The man spitting the venom is Lambo — a 33-year-old rapper who’s been dating Gloria James since 2013.
Lambo claims he and Flo were once on the same record label (Poe Boy Records) but Flo was “stealing my sh*t” … so they had a falling out — and now, the beef has spilled over to social media.
“The last time this clown [Flo Rida] had a lil swagger in him is when I was on the label and he was stealing my sh*t,” Lambo said.
The most shocking aspect of all this? Despite the fact that LeBron James knows just about everybody in the world, he’s yet to throw down his rap skills or even be on a song with Da Real Lambo.
One day, maybe. One day.
