Look, I’m not going to blast anybody for being star struck and I imagine for a huge Cavs fan, getting a high-five from LeBron James is pretty much the pinnacle of your basketball fandom.
But crying? That’s a little over the top, no?
Granted, if you’re 15 or younger, crying is acceptable but if you’re an adult you’re probably stretching things a little too far.
Oddly enough, that’s exactly what happened though as this man began to ball his eyes out after King James gave him some daps as he walked back into the tunnel before making his way to the Cavs locker room.
Perhaps he has us all fooled and is making a mint off his YouTube video.
The LeBron James fan posted the following caption with the video:
I’ve been a LeBron fan most of my life, he and I are from the same city of Akron, Ohio. I had the opportunity to go to Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 24th 2015 and because of where we were seated, I was able to catch him heading back through the tunnels right before tip-off. The feeling of interacting with someone who had such a deep admiration for was priceless and I responded accordingly. I cheered, passed out and then cried. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. My hope is for LeBron James himself to see this one day but I thought I would share with the world.
I have to admit, I don’t think I’d ever cry if I got a high five from LeBron James, but if Sofia Vergara touched me….
