It doesn’t appear as if LeBron James has any problem with David Blatt, the man. But as the Cleveland Cavaliers coach? Well, something isn’t right.
The NBA superstar has continually been fighting off questions regarding his perceived distaste for how Blatt handles the Cavs though routinely says there are no issues. Of course, actions tend to speak louder than words and James is all but yelling at the top of his lungs in that sense.
There has been the well documented push and LeBron James has often been seen leading the huddles over Blatt. Now he simply isn’t engaging in them, at least on some occasions as Bruce Twersky, a writer for Sheridan Hoops sat behind the Cavaliers bench at a recent game. Knowing James’ situation, Twersky decided to video tape every timeout and the evidence against LeBron James was rather damming.
Take this video, for instance, via The Big Lead which shows LeBron James completely ignoring David Blatt and essentially walking as far away as he can be.
Sure, maybe King James knew the play call or understood what his role was to be. Even if that was the case, the last thing you want is your team leader looking completely uninterested in what your coach has to say, especially since it’s James himself who so often gives out instructions/orders during the timeout.
