It’s no secret the Charlotte Hornets are willing to trade Lance Stephenson. Of course, they’d like fair market value for the swingman, something they’re not going to get thanks to his sub par play and mildly nasty contract.
All that said, they’re still evaluating possible trades for the veteran along with other players on their roster.
That’s the word from Alex Kennedy who says the Charlotte Hornets are being very aggressive in the trade market.
They have been aggressive on the trade front for most of the season, so I’m very curious to see what they do.

But I think Charlotte is certainly a team to watch. They’re looking at a lot of trade options right now – some involving Stephenson and some that don’t involve him.
With the free agent addition of Lance Stephenson, the Hornets were hoping they’d be one of the Eastern Conference’s elite teams. Now they’re fighting to stay in the playoff hunt, just percentage points above the Miami Heat who own the 8th and final postseason seed.
Who exactly the Hornets are also thinking about shipping out was not mentioned, though some of their lesser bench players have reportedly been on the block for some time.
