Kobe Bryant On Clippers Taking Over Lakers: Don’t Push It

Kobe Bryant

Although Kobe Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers aren’t partaking in the NBA playoffs currently, that doesn’t mean the Black Mamba isn’t watching.

The All-Star of course lives and breathes basketball, so it would be more of a shock if he wasn’t watching.

He might have a little vested interest in the Los Angeles Clippers as well, but he wants to make one thing clear – they’re not LA’s new team.

Sure, they might be the more talented group between the two right now but when Los Angeles reporter Arash Markazi suggested the two basketball franchises could co-exist in the City of Angels, Kobe Bryant was having none of it.

Ironically enough, this all started with Kobe Bryant praising Blake Griffin and Chris Paul on Twitter, but apparently he was only going to go as far as giving them individual praise for their performance in a would be Game 6 loss to the Houston Rockets.

When the idea of Kobe Bryant’s Lakers co-existing with the Clippers and possibly being a two-team town arose, the Black Mamba wanted to squash that idea before anybody could run with it.

I hate to tell him though – it’s a two team town now.
