Kobe Bryant Has List Of Players He’ll Recruit To Lakers

Kobe Bryant

On Wednesday afternoon, Kobe Bryant suggested that he would not stop attempting to recruit Rajon Rondo to the Los Angeles Lakers despite the fact he’s already stated he’s open to re-signing with the Dallas Mavericks.

Either way, Rondo himself won’t be enough to get the Lakers over the proverbial hurdle which is why Kobe Bryant says he has a list of players he plans to recruit to the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency.

As to what Kobe Bryant will say? While he wouldn’t give it up word for word, he did give a quick pitch to ESPN Los Angeles.

“It’s a pretty simple message: it’s the best organization in the world, [one of] best brands in the world and we win championships. That’s what we do,” Bryant said.

Perhaps the biggest recruiting tool Bryant and the Lakers would have is money, something they’ll have a significant amount of come free agency. Of course, Kobe Bryant himself is eating up a good third of the salary cap which makes bringing in key free agents rather difficult, though Los Angeles could likely offer two max contracts if they decided to crafty with their finances. More likely than not they’ll be able to hand out one max deal and another hefty contract, which could be enough to bring some high profile free agents to Southern California.
