Karl Malone Has Standing Offer For Kobe Bryant Fight Over Vanessa

Kobe Bryant

When Karl Malone signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, many believed his addition (along with Gary Payton) would essentially make the Lakers the NBA’s version of the ‘Dream Team’.

Things didn’t work out that way though as Los Angeles was upset in the Finals and had plenty of chemistry issues, especially regarding the icy relationship between Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone.

Rumors arose suggesting The Mailman had flirted with Vanessa Bryant and made inappropriate comments directed at Kobe’s wife and the two apparently never got on the same page after that. Things didn’t get any better once the Utah Jazz legend stated he’d never participate in another Kobe Bryant ‘soap opera’.

Now Karl Malone has a standing offer for a Kobe Bryant fight as he told the Huffington Post.

“I’m old-school Western. Back in the day, when you had a beef, you didn’t go get guns and knives … we just go back in the back with no cameras and knuckle up. Get it over with.”

Malone continued, “It’s a standing offer,” Malone said. “Look, I don’t want no trouble. I don’t have a problem. People say whatever they want to say and that’s great. I’m 6-9, 272 [pounds] to be exact. I’m not hard to find. I don’t want no trouble. But if something got to go down, I’m not playing fair.”

Decades old drama still finds Kobe Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers.
