For the first time since leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves in an offseason trade, Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers will make a return to his former stomping grounds. Understandably, there’s a significant amount of excitement in the city, but somebody who’s not excited? The T’Wolves who decided to troll their former franchise player by completely ignoring him in their hype video for the upcoming game.

Yes, you saw correctly – the Timberwolves are completely hyping up the return of Mike Miller, but not Kevin Love, which might be one of the best troll jobs of all-time. Sure, Kevin Love probably takes some glee in the situation considering he probably thinks they’re bent out of shape over his “soft” trade request last season, but it’s still some solid trolling.
Of course, it does tend to alienate your former franchise player and comes across mildly childish, but dammit, who cares – it’s funny.
It wasn’t likely that Kevin Love would have much of a relationship with the Timberwolves once his playing days were over anyway, though I’m sure this probably drove a stake in such an idea – at least for now. Perhaps time will heal all wounds, but Minnesota still looks a bit salty.
