Might it be a case of the rich getting richer? While rather unlikely, it appears that Kevin Durant does have a short list of NBA teams that he’d be willing to play for and the NBA champion Golden State Warriors are one of them.
It’s hard to blame the Oklahoma City Thunder star considering he’d be teaming up with talent like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, but of course the Warriors would need to clear a hefty amount of salary to even consider the move if Kevin Durant does become a free agent down the road.
Still, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors about Kevin Durant playing for the Warriors and it probably will not be the last.

Who exactly the other NBA teams on the ‘short list’ are, is not known. One could probably safely assume the Washington Wizards would be among them, unless Kevin Durant doesn’t want to play close to home.
Either way, if Kevin Durant does hit the open market, there’s no doubt the Golden State Warriors are going to do what they can to recruit the former NBA MVP.
