Apparently there’s little love lost between Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook when it comes to now former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Reggie Jackson.
Jackson of course requested to be traded, a wish that was granted by Sam Presti and company after he was dealt to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday afternoon.
Fellow backcourt mate Russell Westbrook took a shot at Reggie Jackson before the trade and now Kevin Durant doesn’t seem overly broken up about losing the point guard.

While Westbrook’s quote seemed to be more irritation, Kevin Durant’s salty reaction to the Reggie Jackson trade appears to be frustration and/or disappointment as he knows the team lost a solid player all because he wanted more minutes.
Of course, many feel the Thunder actually got better once the deadline struck, especially thanks to their acquisition of Enes Kanter who gives OKC a much needed offensively minded big man in the middle. Add in the fact that Reggie Jackson likely wasn’t going to re-sign at season end and it’s obvious as to why the Thunder pulled the trigger, though it doesn’t seem to make Kevin Durant any happier about it.
