Kevin Durant’s Brother On Thunder: Changes Need To Be Made

Kevin Durant

There isn’t much more embarrassing in the NBA than losing to the New York Knicks, something the Oklahoma City Thunder experienced on Wednesday night.

It was a frustrating evening for all involved, including Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook who understandably were not so happy after the game. Also unhappy was Kevin Durant’s brother, who took to social media and called out the franchise suggesting “changes need to be made”.

This of course isn’t the first time we’ve seen a sibling of a professional athlete call out the team their brother plays for. We’ve seen it with Michael Vick’s brother, Marcus, and Ron Artest’s (known now as Metta World Peace) brother Daniel also do the same. Hell, even Jimmer Fredette‘s brother T.J. once unleashed venom at the Sacramento Kings.

Given that, it’s nothing new, though none of those players were in the same breath as Kevin Durant who’s a megastar in his sport.

All that said, Kevin Durant is likely wishing his brother would have kept his mouth shut as he’s only created more issues for the reigning NBA MVP who will now have to deal with another distraction.

There’s already whispers about the New York Knicks looming in free agency – now this.
