While Kevin Durant has no trouble on the basketball court, the same can’t be said for the Oklahoma City Thunder star on the baseball field.
Yesterday we came across a video of Durant looking rather spry with teammate Russell Westbrook as the two played some pickup basketball and today we’ve come across a video of Durant playing in a charity softball game.
And while we applaud Kevin Durant for doing so, perhaps he might want to take a few lessons in catching fly balls because yikes – Durant looked pretty bad in the field.
We’ll give Kevin Durant some slack here because the sun liked to be pretty gnarly at Safeco Field, home to the Seattle Mariners, but you still have to bring that catch in, right? If anything, shade your eyes.
I’m a little shocked the OKC Thunder were okay with allowing Kevin Durant to play in a charity baseball game, especially given he’s in the midst of recovering from an injury. Perhaps they didn’t know – they do now, though.
Perhaps they can find solace in the fact that Kevin Durant was so bad at baseball, he probably will never play again.
