Jeremy Lin Pissed Nets Ran Up Score On Lakers (Video)

Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin was angry the Brooklyn Nets ran up the score on the Los Angeles Lakers.

When it comes to the nicest guys in the NBA, Jeremy Lin would likely be on that list – except when you try to run up the score on his team. At least, that’s what we found out last night as the Brooklyn Nets came away with a victory of Lin’s Lakers.

With the Nets nursing a nine-point lead with 12 seconds left in the game, Alan Anderson was doubled teamed by Los Angeles Lakers guard Ronnie Price. Not wanting to turn the ball over, Anderson passed the ball to a wide open Bojan Bogdanovic under the basket. He could have opted to let the clock run out but literally standing a foot from the rim, he decided to lay the ball in.

The move was met with understandable boo’s from Lakers fans and words from Jeremy Lin who began barking at Bogdanovic as the two made their way back up the court. The exchange continued for the next few minutes, though nobody got in anybody’s face nor were there any punches thrown.

So who was in the wrong here? Maybe nobody? The game was obviously over and the Lakers should have just let the clock run out instead of pressuring the Nets. Once they did that, it was well within Brooklyn’s right to make a play. Granted, at that point perhaps the best option for Bojan Bogdanovic is to pass the ball so we can see why Jeremy Lin was frustrated, but still.

Have to wonder what Kobe Bryant was thinking watching the Lakers game at home.
