Regardless, there’s no denying that J.R. Smith is an entertaining guy and as long as he’s not on your team, you can’t help but enjoy the vast majority of his antics (like stealing food from a fan). That includes his pre-game shower, which he religiously takes before every contest.
Why? No, it’s not to refresh himself before the game but rather for the ladies in the crowd because J.R. Smith never wants to be unrepresentable for his future bride.
Funny moment pregame. I noticed Smith walking out of the shower prior to the game, which struck me as odd and led to this exchange.
Me: “You shower before every game?”
Him: “Yep.”
Me: “Gotta look good at all times, huh?”
Him: “Yep. You never know when your future wife might be in the stands.”
