Heat’s Hassan Whiteside Has NBA 2K Rating Raised To 77

Hassan Whiteside

On Sunday afternoon, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside had a career game which included a triple double and 12 (!!) blocks. Understandably, the former Sacramento Kings prospect was interviewed once the game concluded and his biggest concern? Having his NBA 2K rating bumped up.

Apparently those at the video game studio were listening as they bumped his previous rating of 59 all the way up to 77 thanks to his impressive string of games recently.

That wasn’t the only addition to Hassan Whiteside’s NBA 2K rating as he also received the “eraser” badge which is reserved for players who block a lot of shots.

It’s been a strange career for Whiteside, who before signing with the Miami Heat couldn’t get a job in the NBA.

Too raw coming out of Marshall, the center was also a bit immature as he famously watched rerun’s of Martin while rehabbing an injury as the Kings were in the middle of a game. But it appears the big man has finally put the pieces of his puzzle together and looks to be a solid contributor at the NBA level, both in real-life and virtually.
