When the Denver Nuggets acquired Thomas Robinson from the Portland Trail Blazers during the NBA trade deadline, they did it with the knowledge Robinson wouldn’t be playing in the Mile High City.
Now bought out of his contract, Thomas Robinson is free to sign with any team in the NBA and is reportedly drawing interest from at least five teams including the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets.
Thomas Robinson has had discussions with the Spurs, Nets, Suns, Heat and Hornets, completing DEN buyout Sunday, league sources tell RealGM.

A former first-round lottery pick by the Sacramento Kings, Thomas Robinson hasn’t lived up to expectations though has proven himself to be a worthwhile bench player at minimum. Still very young, it’s possible he could grow into a starting caliber player which is why so many teams are showing interest in the former Kansas Jayhawks star.
It should be noted there are a handful of other NBA teams who are said to be intrigued with Robinson, say like the Toronto Raptors, though it does not sound as if they or any other teams not mentioned have been linked to Thomas Robinson as of yet.
