Just a few months ago, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside was out of the NBA. Now he’s become somewhat of a household name thanks to a string of impressive games.
The big man even got the attention of those behind the video game NBA 2K who raised his rating from 59 to 77 all because he asked them to do so. Needless to say, it’s a great time to be Hassan Whiteside.
It’s not a great time to be a 6-year-old child who was attempting to shoot a basket in the vicinity of Whiteside though, as the Heat big man emphatically rejected his shot in this hilarious video.

This is not the first time we’ve seen an NBA player crush the dreams of a child by rejecting their shot into another area code, though is continues to be rather hilarious no matter who does it and no matter how many times we see it take place.
Plus, you know the kid doesn’t care. Sure, he might be a little pissed off initially, but down the road he’s going to be telling all his friends that Hassan Whiteside blocked the shit out of his shot.
And his friends are going to be like “who the hell was Hassan Whiteside”.
