Some awful news to report out of the basketball world as former NBA player Jackson Vroman has died.
How exactly Vroman passed remains a question as many media outlets are reporting that the former Iowa State talent passed away in a car collision.
However, the ‘King of Instagram’ Dan Bilzerian, who was a friend of Jackson Vroman says the former NBA player died after an accident at home in which he hit his head and drowned in the pool. The Des Moines Registrar confirmed such a report.
While we’ll likely find out more about the accident in the near future, there’s no denying the loss has impacted many fans and friends on social media.

A former second-round draft pick of the Chicago Bulls in 2004, Jackson Vroman played for the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans) and a handful of international basketball teams before eventually deciding to hang up the sneakers.
The Iowa State basketball community is mourning the death of one of its former stars.
Jackson Vroman was found dead in a pool at his Los Angeles County residence on Monday morning, a spokesperson with the county’s Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner told The Register by phone late Monday night.
