The on-again, off-again battle between Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat appears to be back on as we climb nearer and nearer to NBA free agency.
Wade, who has been overly loyal to the Heat in recent years wants to get paid as he enters potential free agency. The Heat, meanwhile, knowing they need additional talent (like Kevin Durant) are hoping their franchise superstar will take a pay cut.
That hasn’t sat well with Dwayne Wade who seemingly took a few shots at his basketball franchise while doing coverage work for ABC during the NBA Finals. Now there’s a video floating around of Dwayne Wade allegedly suggesting the Miami Heat better have his money.
The video, posted to the Snapchat account of Dwyane Wade‘s son (which was quickly deleted) allegedly showed Dwyane Wade with the caption ‘dedicated to the Heat’.
Not a big deal, right? Well, maybe not, but in the background Rihanna’s popular song “B*itch Betta Have My Money” was playing. And no, that probably wasn’t a coincidence.
Considering the video was yanked down as quickly as it was put up, it’s likely going to take some time for somebody to actually get the whole thing – so until we actually see it – it’s all alleged.
Regardless, this looks to be getting rather messy.
