With the Seattle Seahawks hosting the Carolina Panthers this past Saturday in an NFC Divisional Round playoff matchup, Charlotte native and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry decided to head north where he rooted on his hometown team.
Along with Curry came fellow members of the Golden State Warriors including forward Draymond Green who apparently had a problem with a Seahawks fan sitting below the Warriors’ suite.
With Seattle poised for victory, some fans began arguing with those in the suit, including Stephen Curry’s wife and mother. That’s when Green sprung into action and defended the two women, not so much with his words but rather grapes.
Yep, the forward began slinging the fruit at the trash-talking fans.
Green, who has emerged as a star on the Warriors this season admitted that he did indeed throw the fruit though suggested it wasn’t a big deal.
Lol people know they blow stuff out of proportion…. It was 4 GRAPES!!!! And btw I’m not a Panthers fan idc that they lost!!!

While throwing the food was a poor decision on the part of Draymond Green, we also don’t know what was being said to those sitting in the luxury suite. That doesn’t justify his actions, but you have to question what the fans were saying as well.
