A few days ago, Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving suggested the Cavs would have defeated the Golden State Warriors had they been healthy.
It’s a sentiment probably shared by many in Cleveland, but not Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green who laughed at the suggestion, mocking Kyrie Irving earlier today.
Draymond on Kyrie Irving saying the healthy Cavs would have won the title: “I think if I was 6-11 I’d be Anthony Davis“

Nobody is ever going to know what LeBron James‘ Cleveland Cavaliers would have done if Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love had been healthy. What we do know though is the short handed Cavs lost to Stephen Curry‘s Golden State Warriors and nothing can change that.
Even if the two were to meet in the NBA Finals again next season with nearly identical rosters, it would be a completely different situation and circumstances. So in all honesty, the argument probably needs to be swept under the rug. But it doesn’t sound like any of the players who took part want to do that yet.
Cavs players think they would have won the NBA Finals when healthy and Warriors players (understandably so) probably feel disrespected at the notion.
