Not only is Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki one of the greatest power forward’s the NBA has ever seen, he’s also a bit of a jokester. Routinely the Mavs employ Dirk’s questionable acting chops which end up making the German look rather foolish, this when he’s not harassing teammates like he did on Friday night.
After defeating the Denver Nuggets on Friday night, big offseason addition Chandler Parsons was speaking with reporter Jeff Wade on a live television broadcast. That’s when Dirk noticed the exchange taking place and decided to walk by the camera shot. It looked for a moment as if that was going to be the extent of Nowitzki’s troll job, though he quickly paused and then slapped the microphone out of Wade’s hands.
That promptly made Parson’s give Dirk the “you serious” look as Wade went to pick up his mic.
Dirk Nowitzki has routinely given Chandler Parsons grief this season (in the most friendly of ways possible), almost acting like a big brother to him. This just seems to be more of the same, though you can’t help but wonder if Parsons is getting a little irritated with it all considering his not so subtle look at the conclusion of the video.
