Did Klay Thompson Troll LeBron James After NBA Finals?

Klay Thompson

A few nights ago, LeBron James was asked why he was so confident going into Game 6 of the NBA Finals. His response? He stated he was the best player in the world.

Fast forward to Tuesday night when Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors defeated James’ Cavs in the NBA Finals, which lead to a post game presser involving the aforementioned Curry and teammate Klay Thompson.

Unprovoked or asked, Thompson was quick to suggest Stephen Curry as the best player in the world.

Was it a shot at LeBron James? There are plenty of people who see it that way, though, it’s very possible that Klay Thompson was simply attempting to give Stephen Curry props. I mean, this is the reigning NBA MVP – he’s very much entitled to the ‘best player in the world’ title. Most would argue that it’s LeBron James who is indeed the ‘best player in the world’ though Steph Curry is certainly within the frame of discussion.

So what do you think, basketball fans? Was it Klay Thompson trying to troll LeBron James after his declaration of being the best player in the world? Or was he simply giving Stephen Curry his due props? Inquiring minds appear curious.
