We know the Golden State Warriors are all in when it comes to potentially signing or trading for Kevin Durant. The same can be said for the Washington Wizards, who many believe to be the favorites to land Kevin Durant if he does leave the Oklahoma City Thunder.
For what it’s worth, Durant has suggested on multiple occasions that he loves OKC but the folks at Bullets Forever have been trying to read through the lines on some of his most recent comments, specifically those about LeBron James and LaMarcus Aldridge.
I said this last year when Mr. James made his decision, it was pretty cool to see a guy do what he wants to do and not worry about what everybody thinks.
Kevin Durant of course echoed similar thoughts in regards to LaMarcus Aldridge, suggesting that he knew the Portland Trail Blazers star would sign with the San Antonio Spurs.
“But in those decisions, man, you’ve just got to respect the guy for making a decision that was right for him. I know a lot of fans were probably upset in Portland with the decision. But at this point of your life and your career, you’ve got to focus on you. I said this last year when Mr. James made his decision, it was pretty cool to see a guy do what he wants to do and not worry about what everybody thinks.”
Certainly worthy of an eye brow raise, if anything.
