The Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers agreed on an Arron Afflalo trade.
One of the bigger NBA trade deadline dominoes has fallen in the early hours of the morning as according to Yahoo Sports, the Denver Nuggets have traded Arron Afflalo to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Afflalo was coveted by a handful of teams including the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers and more though many were wary of making a move considering the Nuggets’ rumored high price tag.
In the end though, the price wasn’t all that expensive as the Nuggets trade of Arron Afflalo brought back Will Barton, Thomas Robinson, Victor Claver, a future lottery protected 1st and a second-round pick.
Blazers will send Will Barton, Victor Claver, a future lottery protected 1st and a second-round pick to Denver for Afflalo and Alonzo Gee.

The biggest asset there is of course the first-round draft pick though considering it’s lottery protected, it’s not really that big of a deal. Overall, it’s a pretty solid gain for the Portland Trail Blazers as it really solidifies their bench for a deep playoff run.
Meanwhile the Denver Nuggets get a solid haul for a player they didn’t really have much use for.
