In what can only be described as one of the craziest things to ever happen in professional sports free agency, DeAndre Jordan has possibly decided to spurn the Dallas Mavericks and re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Yes, we’re talking about the same DeAndre Jordan who just a couple days ago decided to sign with the Mavs.
While we don’t know the reasoning currently, ESPN’s Marc Stein was the first to report DeAndre Jordan possibly returning to the Clippers – this a team he allegedly left because he was unhappy with some of his fellow teammates, like Chris Paul.
Story going online now: ESPN sources say Clippers lobbying DeAndre Jordan to reverse his decision to join Dallas and stay in LA with Clips

Perhaps the most odd out of everything is that just a few days ago, Mavs owner Mark Cuban stated the Mavericks likely would have tanked the season had they not signed DeAndre Jordan. And to top that off, Wesley Matthews was said to sign with Dallas because of Jordan. Now that deal could potentially be in jeopardy.
Talk about a wild ride.
It’s not known what type of contract DeAndre Jordan will sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, if he does change his mind, though, expect it to be a max-deal with Bird Rights.
