Just when you thought the Los Angeles Clippers situation with DeAndre Jordan couldn’t get any messier, now there are Chris Paul trade rumors in the works.
Jordan, who verbally commited to sign with the Dallas Mavericks has since had second thoughts about such and is meeting with both the Clippers and Mavs today before officially signing with one of the two basketball franchises.
Many believed there was a rift between DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul, which lead to the center opting to ‘sign’ with the Mavs. Perhaps there is more to that then meets the eye, however, because Michael Evans reports DeAndre Jordan’s agent, Dan Fegan, requested the Clippers trade Chris Paul to re-sign DeAndre Jordan.
Source also tells me that Fegan made an ultimatum to Doc prior to agreement w/ Mavs that LAC would have to trade CP3 to keep DJ.

As silly and stupid as that might sound, let’s not forget, this was the same representation who was being the Dwight Howard ‘Dwightmare’ situation a few years back and the most recent DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors.
Needless to say, pot stirring is certainly something they’re very good at.
It’s also safe to say that Chris Paul will not be traded – DeAndre Jordan returning to the Clippers or not.
