Man, talk about a rough day for a couple of NBA draftees.
Not only was Los Angeles Lakers pick Larry Nance Jr in trouble for an old tweet in which he called Kobe Bryant a bad name, so is Chicago Bulls draft pick Bobby Portis who once tweeted “f*** Derrick Rose“.
A Miami Heat fan by choice, the newest Chicago Bulls talent took to social media where he had some choice words for the former NBA MVP and Chicago native.
He wasn’t the only Bulls player to feel the wrath either as Bobby Portis also took a shot at Pau Gasol, suggesting the big man wasn’t nearly as good as everybody says he is (was).
But before the situation could get totally overblown, Bobby Portis took to Twitter again where he apologized to Chicago Bulls fans, Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol for his previous comments when he was rooting for what was then LeBron James‘ Miami Heat.
Bulls Nation sorry for the tweets I sent 4 years ago. I was a boy then. I’m a man now. And a Bull. DRose, Pau, what kinda donuts yall like?

We’ve all said things on social media we wish we could take back, so thumbs up to Portis for apologizing and saying sorry.
