It appears the Miami Heat aren’t the only team with eyes on Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez as the Denver Nuggets also have strong trade interest in the big man.
While oft-injured and relatively expensive (at least for the next season plus), Brook Lopez has proven himself to be one of the better offensive big men in the league. He’s not much of a rebounder, but given the lack of centers in the NBA with an offensive game, Lopez’s abilities have proven themselves to be in demand and the Denver Nuggets appear interested in talking trade.

On the surface it’s a bit of an odd fit considering the Denver Nuggets have been rumored to have interest in blowing things up this season. An acquisition of Brook Lopez would seemingly go against such an argument, especially since he’s only signed through next season unless they had plans to flip him in another deal which seems unlikely.
As for what they’d be willing to give up (certainly won’t be any key pieces like Ty Lawson or Kenneth Faried), that’s not known however given Brook Lopez’s hefty salary and injury concerns you have to imagine the Brooklyn Nets wouldn’t get much in return.
