Brandon Jennings Calls Out LeBron James: ‘He Runs Too Much’

Brandon Jennings

While Brandon Jennings has certainly improved since joining the NBA, especially this season, the point guard has a reputation for being a bit of a ball hog, who has never met a shot he didn’t like.

He’s also getting a bit of a reputation for calling out the opposition, like LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers who Jennings took a shot at recently.

When speaking about who he viewed as the best NBA players to ever grace the court, Brandon Jennings disagreed with a Twitter user who suggested LeBron James was in the same breath as Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, etc.

Some then called out Brandon Jennings for subtweeting at LeBron James, though the Detroit Pistons guard said he didn’t need to tweet at LeBron James because he didn’t say he was a bad player, just that he tends to run away when things don’t go his way/clutch moments.

In the past, that seems to be somewhat of a fair judgement on James though he’s seemingly become more of a true crunchtime player than he was during the early stages of his career where he’d often settle for contested jumpers late in games.

In fairness to Jennings, he did admit that James was the best small forward to ever play the game after fighting off some of LeBron’s supporters.
