Might ‘Space Jam’ be getting a new face? The famed Michael Jordan film which featured the basketball star running around with Bugs Bunny could soon be implementing Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin into the mix.
While a new movie isn’t on the horizon, at least, not that we know of, TMZ reports that there looks to be a ‘Space Jam’ commercial shoot in the works and Blake Griffin will be the star.
Well, as much as he can be when teamed up with the Looney Tunes cast.
So the point of all this? To promote Blake Griffin’s new Jordan shoes.
Blake Griffin could be the next Michael Jordan — ’cause the guy was throwin’ down in Venice Beach with Marvin the Martian on what appeared to be a “Space Jam” themed commercial shoot.
Word on the street … seriously, the people on the street were telling us … Blake was on-set with director Jon Favreau to film a new sneaker ad for his new Jordan shoes.
There’s probably no better basketball player for the idea considering not only does Blake Griffin had a fantastic personality to take on such, but the guy can fly out of the gym.
Hopefully for his sake, the MonSTAR’s stayed far away.
