Be Scared NBA: Anthony Davis Can Now Shoot Three Pointers (Video)

Anthony Davis

Call me crazy, but I think Anthony Davis might be a machine. No seriously.

The only thing the New Orleans Pelicans big man couldn’t do on the basketball court was shoot three pointers, but apparently, that’s changed because the newly minted $145 million dollar man has spent the offseason working on his perimeter shot.

Mildly unguardable already, the idea of Anthony Davis being able to go out to the three-point line and drain buckets? It’s a terrifying thought for opposing NBA teams, but one that is now real.

Granted, Anthony Davis isn’t going to be confused with Steph Curry anytime soon, but it was difficult enough to keep Anthony Davis from scoring already. Now he can stretch the floor with a jumper?

Shut the front door.

Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry, who ironically coached Stephen Curry as an assistant with the Golden State Warriors last season, informed Anthony Davis that he wanted him to be a much better shooter from outside, especially when it comes to the corner three-point shot.

It appears the All-Star listened as not only is he knocking down three pointers with relative ease, the mid-range jumpshot game looks pretty on point too.

Sorry, opposing NBA centers. Dude just became completely unguardable.

LeBron James might be the most dominant player in the NBA currently, but he might have some company.
