Anthony Davis Almost Had Quadruple-Double

Anthony Davis

Getting a triple-double is difficult enough (unless you’re Russell Westbrook, apparently). But a quadruple-double? Yeah, that’s nearly impossible outside of video games. But amazingly, that almost happened on Sunday night thanks to New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis.

The big man, apparently happy with Kentucky’s perfect regular season, went on to celebrate by crushing the Denver Nuggets and almost putting up an unheard of quadruple-double.

Now, it should be mentioned, the big man didn’t achieve such though he came damn close with 36 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and nine blocks. I mean, really?

If those numbers aren’t impressive enough, here’s a figure that’s even more amazing. Anthony Davis is still 22-years-old (and just 22 at that considering his birthday was five days ago). So in short, Anthony Davis is a robot who probably is the spawn of a MonSTAR from Space Jam. That’s the only way you can describe somebody being so young who is so good.

I mean the guy is completely destroying anything in his path on a nightly basis and he’d still be a junior in college if he had stayed at Kentucky. It’s scary to think how good Anthony Davis can become assuming he stays healthy.

Our fingers are crossed because this is a show I want to watch.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
