It’s been eight years since Pittsburgh Pirates star and former National League MVP Andrew McCutchen had a hair cut.
That is until today after the outfielder decided to ditch his famous dreadlocks.
Of course, being the nice guy that he is, Andrew McCutchen made a simple hair cut into a charity event as he will auction off his dreads in effort to benefit Pirates Charities and I’m going to guess the event will raise a pretty penny.
So what does Andrew McCutchen look like without his dreadlocks? A lot different.

I don’t know if this is as drastic as when Tim Lincecum decided to shave off his hair, but it’s up there. I mean, they weren’t wearing hats with greasy hair, covered in neck sweat in San Francisco but they were wearing hats with dreadlocks in Pittsburgh.
As to why Andrew McCutchen decided to shave off his locks, perhaps he was just tired of them and wanted a change. Either way, it’s going to take a while to get used to his new look considering the only McCutchen we’ve ever known is with dreads.
