Pablo Sandoval Rips San Francisco Giants In Harsh Interview

Pablo Sandoval

Often when a player leaves a team in free agency, they’ll either go quietly or drop a subtle slap here and there. Not Pablo Sandoval, who ripped the San Francisco Giants in a recent interview.

Sandoval, better known as ‘Panda’, had been with the Giants organization since he was 16-years-old but decided to sign with the Boston Red Sox this offseason thanks to a coaxing from friend and mentor David Ortiz.

Now Sandoval, who won three World Series titles with the Giants in five years blasted his former franchise.

Among the highlights: Sandoval said he knew he was going to leave the Giants before the 2014 season because he didn’t like the way he and his agent were treated during extension talks, that he didn’t want to stay in the NL West with the Padres because it would have been crazy when he came to San Francisco, and it was easy to leave the Giants because the only people he misses are Bruce Bochy and Hunter Pence.

No love for Buster Posey?!

Clearly no punches were held back on the part of Pablo Sandoval, who has quickly went from fan favorite to public enemy number one in the Bay Area.

It probably would have been best to keep quiet on that one, Panda.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
