Old Man Almost Charged Mound At Rockies Fantasy Camp (Video)

Colorado Rockies fantasy camp

Just about every Major League Baseball team holds an annual “Fantasy Camp” which allows washed up scrubs like you and me the opportunity to pretend we’re MLB players for a week.

The Colorado Rockies are no different, though their fantasy camp had a little extra spice added to it recently when 88-year-old participant Lew Dunlap got a little hot under the jersey.

With Dunlap in the batters box channeling his inner Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez, a pitch was thrown a bit high-and-tight which didn’t sit well with the senior citizen as the old man almost charged the mount at the Colorado Rockies fantasy camp.

I’ve seen a lot of amazing things on the internet, though, this might actually be towards the top of the list, especially if it was legit. Sadly, I’m thinking it was probably some type of publicity ploy (though a great one) on behalf of the Colorado Rockies fantasy camp. Either way, that doesn’t make the video any less awesome. If only Lew Dunlap could have had another 55 seconds or so, he’d have totally destroyed whomever was on the mound. Potential charged mound aside, it looks like everybody had a wonderful time, Lew included.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
