When Hunter Pence isn’t making jaw dropping catches in right field for the San Francisco Giants or breaking up would-be outs on the bases, he’s known for giving some of the most motivational speeches in professional sports.
From his “Yes, Yes, Yes” chant which he started before the Giants’ World Series run this past season to his infamous rally cry in a visiting dugout which sprung the Giants to a 2012 World Series victory, Pence certainly has a second career in public speaking.
In fact, dude is so good he hopped on Twitch recently and decided to give yet another motivational speech, somewhat crafted around video games. What started out as a simply conversation turned into one hell of a word crafting which probably had thousand’s of people (including myself) wanting to fire up Halo or Call of Duty and run around the house in your boxers pounding your chest. Okay, maybe I’m the only one who did the latter part of that – but still.
There have been plenty of reasons as to why the San Francisco Giants have been the most successful team in Major League Baseball over the past five seasons, though Hunter Pence is certainly a hefty part of it.
Dude could sell fire in hell.
