If you can’t handle your beer, then you have no place at a professional sporting event. Because stuff like this tends to happen.
I’m not sure of the backstory here, but captured on video this weekend was a Chicago Cubs fan punching a woman at Wrigley Field.
What the woman did or didn’t do to catch the wrath of the obviously drunk Chicago Cubs fan is unknown, but we do know whatever it was, was not worthy of the end result.
As for the man in the Chicago Cubs jersey who decided it was okay to punch the woman, it doesn’t seem as if anybody knows exactly what happened to him or if security did their job. But judging by the reaction from the other fans in the bleachers, I’m going to assume little was done which is really bad.
This of course comes on the heels of Florida State quarterback De’Andre Johnson punching a woman in the face at a bar.
Seriously, keep your fists to your sides, folks.
And really – the last thing the Cubs need is bad publicity. Thanks to strong play from Kris Bryant, Jon Lester, Anthony Rizzo, Jorge Soler and more, the Cubbies are finally producing on the field. Stop being dumb, fans.
